Samourai Wallet developers Keonne Rodriguez and William Lonergan Hill were arrested today. Samourai Wallet is a non-custodial wallet that offers privacy enhancing features for Bitcoin users.\
\
This is the latest in a series of efforts by the US government to expand their surveillance regime to cryptocurrencies, so that they can more easily extort taxes from US citizens.\
\
IMO, crypto enthusiasts need to invest a great deal more in legal defenses and lobbying to defend agains this kind of attack. Link(s) in comments.
