L Amber O'Hearn Yes, ideally, the gender ratios at cryptography events would be roughly equal. And I'm all for encouraging more high IQ women with a natural interest to attend crypto events. Unfortunately, I don't think most women naturally have an interest in the topic. Until they do, I don't blame men for encouraging women of modest IQ with no natural interest to attend, else many men would not have sexual / romantic partners at all (no matter how low their standards). (There is a much higher percentage of men at the upper tail of IQ than women.) In addition to sex, such women can contribute warmth, humor, emotional support, social graces, grit, pragmatism, organization skill, and a willingness to bear/raise children. (BTW, in case it's not clear, @Astridwilde1 is a _woman_ asking where a woman looking to have a high IQ child should look for mates.)
