Elise Hecht Government debt / inflation has grown at a brisk pace under both Democratic and Republican administrations. And I pointed out before, if you look at their actual performance when in office Harris/Biden was just as bad on tariffs as Trump. If he successfully imposes the tariffs he proposes, I think other countries will impose retalitary tariffs of their own. Our industries with large export sales will scream bloody murder, economic numbers will tank, and he'll repeal the tariffs.
