Gustavo Lacerda  Predicting what the Trump admin will do over four years is a big ask. Here's some of the highlights for what I think will happen. I'm most fearful of Trump starting a war in Iran. I'm most hopeful that Trump will reduce regulation on frontier industries like AI, space, etc. Upsides: * One or two new Trump appointed Supreme Court justices (maybe replacing Alito and Thomas) * Ross Ulbricht pardon (and maybe other political prisoners) * maybe "Nixon go to China" true immigration reform * fewer attacks on crypto industry from SEC/CFTC * fewer regulatory delays on SpaceX/ Starlink/Neuralink/etc * end of US support for war in Ukraine Downsides: * Higher military spending * Higher corporate welfare * Higher tariffs * More deportations * More useless border wall * Possible start of war with Iran * Execution of a few fentanyl dealers * More government spying * More government censorship * More of the Bitcoin ecosystem co-opted by the banking industry * More kowtowing to union mafia like longshoreman's * More aid to Israeli war effort
