I support ending all laws against raw milk. And pasteurization does destroy heat sensitive vitamins However, having worked on a commercial dairy, I can tell you that some some poo, hair, dead skin, mastitus pus make it into the milk no matter how sanitary you are. If you properly filter, keep the milk cold, and use it quickly, drinking raw milk will probably not cause harm, as humans are equiped to deal with small amounts of bacteria. But you have a much smaller margin of error than with pasteurized milk. Personally, I'm happy to drink pasteurized milk.
