Speaking for myself, I volunteer with charitable organizations that give me a chance to work with women on hard projects over a long period of time. Lazy, selfish, narcissistic women aren't likely to be attracted to such orgs in the first place, and if they do show up, their nature is soon revealed in their behavior and work ethic. Perhaps a similar strategy will help you to weed out the bad apples?
