I used to live in East Palo Alto, which is ~65% Hispanic. On Fourth of July/2020, the booms were loud enough to set off car alarms, and the next day the entire neighborhood was covered in a thin film of ash. Big fireworks on the day of, I don't mind so much. However, I found that periodic booms in the month leading up to holiday to be annoying.
