No, not combat. 1. Very few women can cut it physically, so there will always be pressure to lower standards for them 2. Most men feel an instinctual need to protect women from harm. This causes problems in battle. 3. The presence of women creates conflict due to romantic rivalry / favoritism / etc. 4. Women can make more contribution in other ways: replacing men in factories back home, nursing/medicine/rehabilitation, office work, logistics, etc.
