Brian Trosko "n the sense that I’m a member of the participatory democracy that passes and enforces laws" The voting public is ignorant, irrational, and mildly fascist. They have in the past voted for the enslavement of blacks, imprisonment of thousands of Japanese people without trial, and the blockage of 6 million Jews from fleeing the Nazis, resulting in their deaths. Hundreds of thousands of people are currently serving time for victimless crimes. That you are part of a mob of people large enough to force your will on others doesn't make your behavior ethical.
