I didn\'t care for most of David Lynch\'s work, but I did like his version of Dune. Yet, Lynch disavowed the Dune film because he didn\'t have final cut, and was forced to edit it in a way that didn\'t jibe with his vision for the film.\
\
Someone named Spicediver has put together a 3 hour fan edit that aims to correct the faults of the theatrical release.\
\
The Spicediver edit (\"Dune ( 1984) Alternative Edition Redux \") incorporates many of the deleted scenes, and re-arranges the film to follow the plot of the book more closely.\
