Jeff Fischer On the contrary. While bitcoin development has since been hijacked, bitcoin proved that one could create a trustless, decentralized, censorship resistant e-cash. Bitcoin (and later coins such as Monero) have enabled people to escape from the stranglehold that the government holds upon fiat currencies, and conduct online trades without government censorship or surveillance. TRUMP, on the other hand, is just another in a long line of memecoins. There's nothing innovative about it. There's no reason to use it, other than the fact that Trump endorses it.
