If left-wing feminists were intellectually consistent, there wouldn't be separate leagues for men and women in the first place, as they claim there are no inherent differences in ability between men and women. If they admit that natal men have a systematic, unfair advantage in sports due to their sex, then they would have to admit that might also be true in other areas of life (such as top level physics/mathematics, computer programming, physically demanding jobs (logging, soldiering, etc).
