No, we just remember that the last Trump administrtion ran up the national debt by $8.8 trillion, gave Fauci a medal, and increased military spending more than Obama. It would be great to get rid of USAID, but it's a drop in the bucket. Trump is not going to touch Medicare/Medicaid, Social Security, or military spending. In fact, he's already talking about getting us further embroiled in the Gazan conflict. During his last administration Trump imposed billions in new taxes (aka tariffs) that sparked a bunch of retaliatory tariffs. So, not only did we end up paying 10-30% higher prices to subsidize less efficient domestic companies, we were forced to bail out American farmers that were harmed by the retaliatory tariffs. And principled libertarians have long opposed USG violating the property rights and freedom of assocation of citizens and would be immigrants alike with immigration suppression laws.
