> now complaining that there are people who aren't them who are actually actively pushing to shrink the size and scope of the Federal Government and to some degree succeeding at it where they've failed Trump pardoned Ross Ulbricht. But he's also said he plans to execute a bunch of drug dealers. If Trump executes a hundred future Ulbrichts before he leaves office, was electing him a net win? If DOGE saves $100 billion, but then spends a trillion by giving every household $5000, is that a net win? I celebrate net wins, even if they're imperfect or limited in scope. But if Trump et al's actions ultimately result in more cronyism, more spending, more regulatory oppression, on net, then what is there to celebrate? Shouldn't we complain as much about the bad things that the Trump administration does as we would if Harris were in office instead?
