John Lam The national debt grew by $2.4 trillion in 2024,    Current GDP (2024) is ~30 trillion.  Real GDP grows ~3%/year or 0.9 trillion. Note that as the debt increases payment on the debt it will increasingly crowd out productive uses of the money, such as investment in new technologies/companies.  So we can expect GDP growth to slow as the debt increases. Seems to me that we need substantial cuts, even if your claims are true.
