Faith BG Hamas, for better or for worse, is the government of Gaza. They don't put the munitions in their own homes for the same reason that US presidents don't launch rockets from the White House. Gazans have very few resources due to Israeli embargoes, and one of the few tactics they have left is to make the Israelis look bad by making them kill innocent people. From their perspective, the loss of life is worth the gains for the broader cause. Just as, from the Israeli's perspective, killing thousands of Gazan kids is worth it to achieve their military objectives. Again, I think Hamas goals are quixotic, and their tactics are evil and stupid. But I also think the Israeli's tactics are evil and stupid, for the same reasons. > And also ask yourself what you’d do if it was your child that was kidnapped and strangled. My response would be to try and kill the people who killed my kid. Not indiscrimately kill a bunch of people who had nothing to do with the murder.
