Musk is currently building his wealth by 1) revolutionizing the electric car industry (Tesla) 2) revolutioning the space industry (Spacex) 3) revolutionizing the internet industy (Starlink).  Allocating capital to any of the causes listed above would only make sense if doing so created more value than his current investments.
