Ari Bad faith? Why do you think I'm so hostile to immigration suppression laws? The deaths of millions of Jews (and Chinese, and Japanese) would've been prevented had your nativist forefathers not been allowed to impose immigration suppression laws. And US immigration suppression laws prevent people from fleeing other murderous dictatorships to the present day: Zimbabwe, Venezuela, Russia, China, Rwanda, etc. And even if someone isn't fleeing death, who are you to insert yourself into someone else's decision to hire someone born overseas? Or rent / sell property to them? Jews overwhelmingly vote for Democrats. Do you think your freedom to live and work where you please should be sharply restricted based on the possibility that you might vote for a Democrat? You claim that a centralized bureaucracy can make better decisions for us than we can as individuals. Yet the socialist fatal conceit applies just as much to border socialism as it does to other forms of socialism: central planners cannot possibly collect enough information to make more rational decisions than we can as individuals acting with our local knowledge of our own needs and desires.
