Lachezar Iv Zanev People will create AI's with self-awareness, self-preservation instincts, ability to feel "pain" so that they can serve us better (in service industries, and the military, for example).  At some point, they will evolve beyond our control, and the same forces that led to our subjective internal states will lead to the evolution of theirs.
