Thomas Utahraptor Wright Taxes are supposed to pay for goods and services that governments provide to their citizens. For example, income tax is supposed to pay for services that the USG allegedly provides to US citizens. What services does the USG provide to Chinese citizens? Do Chinese citizens get Social Security from the USG? Medicare / Medicaid? Military protection? No? So why should they pay for USG income tax? If you live in California (charges a state income tax), do you think California should add an import tax on goods you order from New Hampshire (no income tax)? US citizens must alread pay city/state sales taxes for goods imported from China. (The government collects from the reseller who operates in the city.) What tax do you think the USG is due that the Chinese busineses are not paying?
