# Many strong female leads: Emma Peel (The Avengers), Margaret...

*June 30, 2025 — Comment Ben Feral Selinger's photo*

Many strong female leads: Emma Peel (The Avengers), Margaret Houlihan (M*A*S*H), Buffy Summers (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Inara Serra / Kaylee Frye / Zoe Washburne (Firefly), Kathryn Janeway (Star Trek Voyager), Lucy Maclean (Fallout), Juliette Nichols (Silo) Powerful female villains, on the hand, are much less common. If anything, we should be protesting that men are almost always painted as the villain.
