Melody Mustaine ""Nativists are a small subset of the people I am referring to" Okay, who is the larger subset you're referring to? According to Wikipedia: "Nativism is the political policy of promoting or protecting the interests of native-born... over those of immigrants, including the support of anti-immigration and immigration-restriction measures." What part of this definition do you think only applies to an "extreme" subset of the US rightwing population? Isn't Trump's signature issue greater government suppression of immigration? What could be more mainstream than the policies promoted by the leader of one of the two major parties in the US?
