Melody Mustaine Are you not aware that laws themselves are systematically biased? If your freedom of movement were severely restricted simply because you were born a woman would you think that just? Suppose a few women could win their freedom via an costly, timeconsuming legal route. Marrying a powerful man, let's say. Would that make the suppression of the remaining women just? If you were one of the remaining women, would you be mollified by the fact that the law was equally applied to all women? If the few women who won their freedom via the "legal" route subsequently worked to make it even harder for the remaining women to travel freely, wouldn't you regard them as hypocrites?
