The frustrating part is that the socialist aspects of the US healthcare system are primary causes of the increase in cost. Government spending on healthcare alone is greater than all but a few socialist care systems. The government severely restricts new entrants to the US medical labor market, restricts the sale/importation of drugs, controls much of the spending on research, restricts the construction of new hospitals/medical schools, etc.
