It would only be indicative of general libertarian hypocrisy if most libertarians approved of the man's behavior. However, I think most libertarians would regard not disclosing a known defect as immoral. (That you try to paint all libertarians as immoral hypocrites on the behavior of single libertarian(?) is indicative of your own intellectual dishonesty, however.) All philosophies have their hypocrites. There are plenty of progressives who babble endlessly about how much we should care for the poor, but donate none of their own money to the poor, for example. Or who sanctimoniously proclaim "my body, my choice" when it comes to abortion, but then deny others the right to buy drugs or medicare care without government permission.
