Elizabeth Jack >  And just because the constitution doesn't protect non-Americans as such doesn't mean that limiting the speech of any individual is ethically acceptable. Agree.  But nativists typically assign little weight to the well-being / freedom of immigrants.  So I was trying to appeal to his self interest, not his compassion.
