My sympathies.  It's flabbergasting to me that people don't get that marketing/sales, hiring, customer service,  regulatory compliance, capital allocation, training, etc all are part of your job.  And most importantly, you're the one that takes on most of the risk.   If the company does poorly for a month, you might be paid nothing or lose money. They get paid regardless, unless the company goes out of business altogether.
