David S. I'm open to the possibility that the number of deaths is being misreported. I don't trust Hamas to report truthfully But I also don't trust the Israeli government to report truthfully, given the obvious incentives they have to hide/downplay the number of innocent lives they take. And the Israeli government strictly bans any independent journalists from entering Gaza to report on the war. The only journalists allowed to report are embedded in the IDF, and their reporting is heavily censored. It's a bit rich to complain that people buy inaccurate, biased numbers when the Israeli government prevents credible neutral third parties from acquiring accurate, unbiased numbers.
