Edward Miller Yes, land value taxes are even better than property taxes, though they have the disadvantage of greater complexity of assessment. I'm also a fan of charter cities like Ciudad Morazan.  If you haven't read it yet, I recommend the book Pioneering Prosperity: The Morazan Model for Free Cities by Joyce Brand.
