Michael Clive Yes, forcibly stripping other people of the means of self-defense is evil. The purpose of the second amendment is to ensure the citizenry have sufficient arms to amount an effective defense against tyrannical government.  Bolt actions don't cut it.  And the grabbers won't stop with AR's, in any case, as illustrated in other countries.  Brits can't even carry kitchen knives without threat of arrest.
