Sev Onyshkevych Elon says a lot of things, some of which are stupid. Companies should be able to hire the best in the world without paying a hefty tax. The H1-B should be reformed, not by increasing its cost, but by giving foreign born employees green cards. Then they could work for anyone and thereby command market rates. Any company that hires sub-par employees will lose out to companies that don't. No need for the government to try to protect companies run by bad managers.
