Gerry Mander 1. Yes, accidental pregnancy is still a possibility, but much lower. Both sex worker and client are more likely to be diligent about using contraception. 2. Yes, all sex carries increased risk of STD's. However, sex workers are more likely to insist on using condoms, as their livelihood depends on maintaining their sexual health. 3. Possible, but highly unlikely for the sex worker. Risk is higher for the client (many sex workers are great actresses who are incentivized to create the illusion of love).
