Tóth Gergely "what if HAL(s) are abundant enough to satisfy and saturate pretty much any demand for a job that any player has in the economy" That is the lump of labor fallacy. There isn't a fixed demand for jobs. Desire is infinite, but fulfilling those desires must be triaged based on available wealth. As wealth increases (due to higher productivity from new inventions / automation), the more of those desires can be fulfilled by the people whose labor is no longer needed to satisfy higher priority desires.
