Chris Dunphy > Sounds like hell. You'll note I didn't ask for feedback from non-libertarians. Clearly, most people are quite enthusiastic about a massive, paternalistic, authoritarian state or it wouldn't be as big as it is. Both major parties try to expand the government as much as they can when in office. The policies I prefer are very unpopular. > Neuter the state - then completely empower crime families, churches, mega-corporations, and the ultra-wealthy. And you think those groups don't already control the US government? Currently, US citizens are coerced to pay trillions for a system over which they have no effective oversight or control, and which they cannot easily escape. If they refuse to pay or obey, they will be fined, caged, or killed, depending on how hard they fight the coercion. I'm trying to connect with people who want a small corner of the world where that is not the case.
