Andrew Wagner People once thought the idea of Trump becoming president was absurd.  Clinton directed her lackeys in the media to pump him up over the other Republican candidates during the Republican primaries because she thought he would be the easiest to beat. Don't underestimate the public's affinity for charismatic psychopaths.
