To be clear, I loathe Maduro and his socialist dictatorship.
However, I don't think the USG should launch wars against other countries without going through the legal process. Congress, not the President, is the only body authorized to declare war.
And I don't think the US launching a war against Venezuela will improve matters. The US spent 20 years, 200+ K lives, 2.8 trillion dollars to defeat the Taliban, and the war ended with the Taliban in power again.
Worse, the Trump administration seems intent on establishing a puppet regime consisting of Maduro's lackeys, and not the legitimately elected leaders. He's currently negotiating with Delcy RodrÃguez, Maduro's VP, as if she is the legitimate leader of Venezuela.
