> you know I love you but you donât even live in NH. What standing do you have to âtake backâ LPNH?
Do you think that only libertarians in NH care about the success of the FSP?
The FSP is the most successful libertarian political project to date.
Many libertarians want to see it succeed, even if they can't immediately move due to other issues that take higher priority ( such as health or family concerns).
Kauffman is also among the leadership of the LPNH. The LPNH is an official affiliate of the national Libertarian Party. As an official affiliate of the LP, the actions and rhetoric of the LPNH leadership reflect on the Libertarian Party more broadly.
Kauffman (and much of the rest of the LPNH) endorse a number of authoritarian policies, such as:
* forcibly expropriating and deporting people he deems insufficiently libertarian
* assassinating non-libertarian politicians
* murdering homeless people with Judge Dredd style police forces.
When the LPNH spews authoritarian, white nationalist rhetoric it makes both the FSP and the national LP look bad. And that is a concern for all libertarians.
For example, Kauffman/LPNH have announced that they would murder communists.
1. "It's never murder to kill a communist"

Who do they define to be a communist? Libertarian Party candidate Chase Oliver, for one:
2. "Chase Oliver is a ...communist."

Do you think that a definition of communist that includes Chase Oliver wouldn't also include many libertarians, and all Democrats?
NH's population still leans slightly progressive overall. That's not likely to change any time soon. Free State candidates depend on at least their acquiescence to win office.
Do you think they'll vote for / acquiesce to Free State candidates, if they think Free Staters will try to expropriate, deport, and murder them if they win office?
Even though he was in the leadership of the LPNH (and therefore contractually obligated to endorse the LP candidate), he openly endorsed socialist Donald Trump.
Do you think that most libertarians want to move to a state where the LP is infested with white nationalist authoritarians who voted for Donald Trump? What's the win for them?
Booting the white nationalist authoritarians from the LPNH will:
* benefit the FSP, by making the FSP / NH more appealing to libertarians who haven't moved yet.
* benefit FSP candidates, by making it easier for them to win over non-libertarians
* take away the LP megaphone from the white nationalist authoritarians, and reduce their ability to spew anti-libertarian rhetoric.
* reduce their ability to corrupt the meaning of the word "libertarian" from "liberty lover" to "white nationalist social conservative".
* demonstrate that we can police our own, and remove bad actors from our institutions.
