The US offered a $50 million bounty for information that led to the capture of Osama Bin Laden
Ultimately, the manhunt that lead to his death cost ~$500 billion.
Maduro's bounty was also $50 million. But Maduro's capture cost ~$1 billion.
$50 million doesn't seem like a lot, given that an informant's friends and family would be targeted for torture / death.
Seems to me that such bounties should be 1. much larger 2. pay upon completion.
Maybe $500 million for the death of the target, and $750 million for their live capture.
