The true purpose of government schools

The fact that the average person doesn’t understand how a 44% capital gains tax and a 25% wealth tax would destroy our GDP and leave millions unemployed is a testament to the failure of public schools.

It's only a failure if the primary purpose of government schools is to promote the wellbeing of the students. On the other hand, if the primary purpose of government schools is to indoctrinate children so that they become obedient subjects of the state, then they are working as intended.
