In order to raise money for controversial causes/product, it's necessary to have censorship resistant payment methods. Something like a "peer-to-peer, open source Patreon/" with support for privacy coins such as Monero.
IMO, the ideal would be the Monero Subscription Wallet + Librepatron UI. The user would reload the wallet say, once a quarter, but otherwise the payments would go out unattended.
Perhaps this is a product Cake Wallet (@cakewallet) would be interested in developing?

I imagine there are many Patreon / OnlyFans / Youtube creators out there who would like to a) keep more of their subscription money b) be free of the streaming platform's censorship.
