- Slice a bunch of green onions and add half to the pan; reserve the rest for garnish.
- Cook the sauce on low heat for 10 minutes, until it thickens.
- Meanwhile, cut the chicken thighs into small cubes and season with salt.
- Coat the chicken generously in cornstarch, then toss with a little oil.
- Cook in the oven or air fryer at 425 F for 15 minutes, until crispy.
- Dump the crispy chicken into the thickened sauce and toss to coat.

Notes
Servings: 3 (estimated – the narrator does not state a yield). Per serving (estimated, now including the guessed amounts): ~1080 kcal, ~32 g protein, ~190 g carbs, ~22 g fat, ~3 g fiber. Macros are rough sums from USDA per-100 g values. Previously unstated amounts have been guessed and added to the ingredient table: cornstarch 1/3 cup (40 g), sesame seeds 1 tbsp (10 g), sticky rice 1 1/2 cups dry (300 g); the rice guess dominates the carb and calorie total. Treat all guesses as starting points.
Quantities: exact from the narration – 2 Thai chili peppers, about 10 garlic cloves, 1 cup honey, 1 full orange (juiced), 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 2 minutes at low-medium for the butter, 10 minutes on low heat for the sauce, and 425 F for 15 minutes in the oven or air fryer. Items marked “amount estimated” are inferred from visuals and common practice; items marked “guessed” are the previously unstated amounts filled in on 2026-08-04 (chicken 450 g and oil 1 tbsp were already estimated in the original post).
