Happy Halloween!
Most people know actor Patrick Stewart for his heroic characters, Captain Picard and Professor X. However, he also played villains well. His performance in the horror/thriller Green Room is the one to see.
Jeremy Saulnier’s film puts a punk band in a skinhead bar with no way out, and Stewart’s club owner is the calm at the centre of it – polite, reasoned, and entirely willing to have everyone in the room killed. It earns its place as the twenty-first entry on my list of under appreciated horror films.
