Has anyone hosted a shelter cat house party?
Here's how I think it might work:
* Find someone with a house or event space who would be willing to host a party with lots of cats
* Contact shelters and rescues and ask them if you can borrow some friendly kitties for a weekend.
* Bring the kitties over a couple of days beforehand so that they get acclimated to the house and each other
* Invite fellow cat lovers to the party. Suggest that they bring cat-themed songs to share, cat art, etc.
Advantages: People get to play with the kitties (and maybe adopt some), listen to music, see art, hang out with friends.
Questions:
1. Would shelter kitties enjoy this?
2. Would shelter kitties make too much of a mess?
3. How many shelter kitties is a good number?
4. How many guests?
5. Potential spaces?
