Rittenhouse wasn't the only person acquitted in a self-defense case recently. However, in Andrew Coffee's case, they're going to try to get him on a weapon's charge instead. I wonder if the people complaining about Rittenhouse carrying a rifle will cheer on this guy going to prison for 30 years for carrying a gun illegally? As Spike Cohen writes:
"It's great that Andrew was acquitted for murder, but unfortunately he was also found guilty of possessing a firearm as a felon.
Because they couldn't get him on the murder charge, the prosecution says they're going to try to get him sentenced to the maximim 30 years for the gun charge.
