Izdaari Eristikon Being a bigot, by itself, doesn't violate libertarian principles. If someone doesn't want to associate with blacks/Mexicans/Iranians, it's their right to refuse entry to them on their property. However, bigots are generally stupid, economically illiterate, and hypocritical. IME, they almost always privilege their hatred/fear of blacks/gays/immigrants over their commitment to liberty. They typically assign zero weight to the harms that they cause to the groups they fear/hate. So the increase in the population of bigots in the LP has been accompanied by more support for more authoritarianism, such as immigration suppression laws.
