If we assume a similar percentage dressed weight, a Pom contains 1/3*5 lbs = 1.65 lbs of meat. There are about 550 calories/lb in deer meat. So, if Pom meat is similar in composition to deer meat, a Pomeranian contains roughly 900 calories of meat (1.65 * 550).
