How to Become a Collaborator on the memes4future X Account

To post as the memes4future account you do not need its password. X’s Delegate feature lets the account owner grant you a role, and you then act as that account from your own login. Becoming a collaborator takes three steps: allow the invite, accept it, then switch into the account whenever you post.

Step 1: Turn on “Allow others to Delegate to you”

This setting lives on your own account, not on memes4future. Until it is switched on, the owner cannot invite you – they will see “This member doesn’t allow Delegate invites.”

1. Log in as yourself (your own account, not the brand’s).
2. Go to x.com/settings/delegate, or navigate More > Settings and privacy > Security and account access > Delegate.
3. At the top of that page, flip “Allow others to Delegate to you” ON.
4. Select “Allow anyone to invite you” rather than “only people you follow” – otherwise the owner can only invite you if you already follow them.
5. Tell the owner to invite you. The invite will appear under “Accounts delegated to you” on that same page.

Step 2: Accept the invite

Nothing works until this is done.

1. Log in as yourself at x.com.
2. Open x.com/settings/delegate and click “Accounts delegated to you”.
3. Find the pending invite and click “Accept”.

Step 3: Post as the account

Once you switch into the account, every action you take is performed as that account.

1. On desktop, switch accounts by clicking your user icon in the lower left corner.
2. Confirm that the avatar indicator has changed to the delegated account.
3. Use X normally: post, reply, quote, repost, like, DM, schedule posts, delete posts, create lists, build collections.

Check the avatar before hitting Post. A common mistake is replying to a mention as yourself instead of as the brand.

Use a desktop browser. Switching into a delegated account is reliable on desktop and in X Pro; support in the phone app is inconsistent, and some users cannot switch into a delegated account on mobile at all.
